Ania Puciata
An always evolving practitioner, learner and teacher of yogic philosophy, Ania is an individual which has had her own struggles, but has found that community and the practice of mindfulness has helped her through life’s many transitions. For this reason, Ania co-founded Akna Collective, a space for individuals around the world, coming together to learn, explore, understand and teach.
Ania began her peripatetic travels at a young age, and developed a desire for adventure, language and other communication methods, as well as the desire to better understand the cultures she visited. Her international experiences, along with individuals met along the way, ignited an appetency for the need for sustainable practices worldwide.
As a child, Ania was introduced to gardening by her mama, which created a sense of oneness with nature, and has continued to be a major component of her adult life. From involvement in the climate change movement, to understanding of one’s carbon footprint, to eco-product design, to permaculture as a way of life- sustainable practices, from the production phase to the final consumption, are of dire importance to Ania. Creativity has always flowed through her veins. Be it through gardening, art, travel, or yoga practice, Ania is continuously creating a new idea, a new solution, a new project.
Ania completed her 200YTT in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Mexico, her 300YTT and 50 hour Ayurveda training with a World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, as well as a trauma sensitive training with Transformation Yoga Project, an 80 hour yin yoga training with Evolation Yoga, an inversion intensive with Awakening Yoga Academy & Patrick Beach. She has since taught in Mexico, Colombia and Peru, Spain, and also online!
